12 pitted prunes
12 dried apricots
12 dried figs
1/2 cup seedless raisins
12 dried peaches or apples
2 cups purified water
4 tablespoons orange juice
4 tablespoons rose water (optional)
1/2 cup pine kernels (or almonds or pecans or a mixture)
Place the dried fruits in a bowl with the purified water, cover with a dishcloth and leave overnight.
Then chill in the refrigerator. Drain off excess water.
Prior to serving, stir in the orange juice, rose water and nuts.
